Overview
At La Vintage Valise, each item is hand-selected for its craftsmanship, character, and history. Because of the nature of vintage and pre-loved clothing, all items are sold as-is and may show gentle signs of age or wear consistent with their vintage condition.
Please review all photos, descriptions, and measurements carefully before making a purchase. If you have any questions about an item’s fit, fabric, or condition, we encourage you to contact us at la.vintage.valise@gmail.com prior to checkout.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds on any vintage or secondhand items. All sales are considered final.
Refunds will only be issued if an incorrect item was shipped in error.
If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5-7 business days, or sooner.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.
Exchanges
We gladly accept exchanges under the following conditions:
- You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to request an exchange.
- The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in the exact condition it was received, with any original tags or packaging still attached.
- Exchanges may be made for another item or for store credit of equal value.
- All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
To request an exchange, please email la.vintage.valise@gmail.com with your order number and reason for exchange. Once approved, we will provide the return mailing address and next steps.
Non-Exchangeable Items
For hygienic and preservation reasons, the following items cannot be exchanged:
- Accessories, jewelry, hats, and handbags
- Discounted or sale items
- Custom or altered pieces
Shipping returns
If your exchange request is approved, please mail your item to the address provided in your confirmation email.
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and for ensuring items are securely packaged. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as La Vintage Valise LLC cannot guarantee receipt of returned packages.
